libuser1 software package provides user and group account administration library (shared libraries), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libuser1
libuser1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libuser1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libuser1 *
You will get with libuser1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
